UTFO Hip Hop pioneer Kangol has passed away, according to promotor Van Silk. He'd been fighting stage 4 colon cancer.

Kangol Kid, a co-founder of the legendary Brooklyn hip-hop group U.T.F.O., passed away Saturday morning after a battle with colon cancer. He was 55.

UTFO legend Kangol Kid is in the fight of his life after receiving a Stage 4 colon cancer diagnosis in February.

Biz had been struggling with his health for over a year. In July 2020, he was in a Maryland area hospital receiving treatment related to Type II diabetes. But as the months dragged on, friends of Biz started to worry when they hadn’t heard any updates for six months.
