Staff Sgt. Jack Coy died in 1944 in Germany. His remains were identified last year and arrived home in a processional in Oregon on Thursday.
The community is asked to line Navarre Avenue in Oregon around 6:45 p.m. on Thursday to pay respects to Staff Sgt. Jack Coy, who is being laid to rest.
