PARKERS CHAPEL - If everyday could be Christmas and New Year’s, Smackover might ride its sleigh deep into the state tournament. The Buckaroos won their second holiday tournament in as many weeks Saturday night, rallying past Georgetown (La.) 58-56 in the championship game of the Jammin’ at the Jack Holiday Classic.

PARKERS CHAPEL - On the court, Parkers Chapel proved less than hospitable hosts Saturday night in the girls’ championship game of the Jammin’ at the Jack Holiday Classic. The Lady Trojans ran away from Strong 64-28 to win their own tournament title for the second year in a row.
