We really, really thought we were going to be able to enjoy crab this Christmas but it looks like that is not going to happen after all. Crab season in the Bay Area was supposed to start on December 23rd but wholesale prices are apparently too high and local fleets say until those prices come down, they're not going out. Albany Bowl Closing After 71 Years Due To The Pandemic. | 98.1 The Breeze

Albany Bowl on San Pablo Blvd. (in Albany) is closing for good after 71 years. For years, they have hosted everything from children's birthday parties to adult and youth bowling leagues but without any cash flow, they just can't continue to stay afloat. John Tierney, owner of the bowling alley, says he has spent $700,000 since the start of the pandemic. He said he can't hold on for six more months.

Aubrey Iacobelli from Florida got some great video of what she thought was a cat in her Christmas tree the other day. It turned out to actually be a raccoon!
