The Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association held its annual convention in Alexandria.  The group announced its awardees for Officer of the Year for both 2020 and 2021. Last year's convention canceled because of the pandemic. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension identified the officers as: Grant Breems, a 27-year law enforcement veteran who's been with the Blaine Police Department for the past four years.
