Unfortunately this happened. They are taking the row home apart piece by piece to determine the cause of the fire and the reason for the collapsed floor. It was really sad and tragic. He was an all around guy. The 11 year veteran was assigned to 45 and served at 11 and ladder 77. We took pride in knowing our trade and he fit that mold. The type of firefighter we all look up to being. Even strangers stopped by to honor the fallen hero. He put his life on the line to protect all of us. Something that you never want to hear.
