Now, between now and wednesday afternoon, more than 2 inches of rain is forecasted to fall in the bay area. The next 24 hours feature only relatively light rain in the bay area. Showers will develop tonight. A much stronger system brings heavy rain late tomorrow night. And there will be more storms coming in on wednesday and thursday.
