Letters: No booze in pubs – another mindless attack on the hospitality industry

It takes no consideration of the hardship that publicans across the country have faced over the previous trading year. Publicans make money from alcohol and food sales. In my experience as a publican, I have never made a serious amount on soft-drink sales alone. We must also consider the damage that such a policy would do to the wider supply chain. Breweries ultimately rely on selling alcoholic products...
