In the courts: Andover man stole beer from M&S
Douglas Peter Strike pleaded guilty to theft and assault by beating at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Monday. The court was told that Strike, of Junction Road, committed the offences at Marks and Spencers in Tanner Street, Winchester, on April 17. He has been remanded on unconditional bail whilst a pre-sentence report is prepared. The 32-year-old will next appear before the same court on May 24.
