This comes as a relief to a lot of people around this country. Sheriff joe had a career that spanned over two decades. He was tough on illegal immigration, facing six months in jail after conviction with no jury. I think a lot of people would be very relieved to see a pardon. He wasnt just beloved in arizona, but people around the country feel he was being treated unfairly by not being given a jury. We will see what happens there.
