Ikeda’s began as a fruit stand in the 1970s and has since grown into an undeniable highlight to any trip along I-80.
With the third generation now taking the ownership reins, it’s the epitome of a family business.
“You can ask anybody in our family,” says Derek Ikeda, 26, who has stepped into the leadership position.
“It’s our blood, sweat and tears in this store.”
