WEST WARWICK — In West Warwick, recently designated as a Tree City USA community for the 20th consecutive year, an appreciation for nature is apparently deeply rooted.

WEST WARWICK — The Jaycee Corridor and Arboretum at Riverpoint Park has a fresh new look, thanks to Henri Messier, a member of Troop 11 Coventry.  “I think it came out awesome,” Messier, who revamped the park for his Eagle Scout project, said of the finished product. “I’m very, very happy.” Messier, who's now just a few small steps away from achieving the highest rank in Scouting, spent the day Saturday completing the project.
