Staff report MEMORY SCREENINGS VIRTUAL: The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America is offering a free virtual memory screening as part of Older Americans Month. Appointments can be scheduled by calling AFA at 866-232-8484 or by visiting www.alzfdn.org. Screenings are conducted through secure videoconference. There are no minimum age or insurance prerequisites. Results are not a diagnosis of any particular condition, but a memory screening can suggest if someone should see a physician for a full evaluation. Screenings are conducted every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. In addition to economic findings, the report characterizes the present and future challenges Ohio will likely face as its senior population grows and provides estimates of present and future needs within the sector.
