Amid an alarming rise in Covid cases in the country, the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday announced that the May session of JEE (Main) has been postponed.
Before this, the April session of JEE (Main) that was scheduled for April 27, 28 and 30 had already been postponed.
In a statement, the NTA said, “The JEE (Main), May 2021, session is currently scheduled on 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 May 2021. However, keeping the present situation in mind, the JEE (Main) is also being postponed. ....

New Delhi: Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021 is most likely to get postponed amid the COVID-19 crisis.
According to the reports, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced Committee has discussed the possibility of postponing the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Entrance Examination. The exam was scheduled to be held on July 3, 2021.
Speaking to a news agency, JEE Advanced committee officials said, a three-member committee during a meeting on April 27 discussed the prevailing pandemic situation in the country and conducting JEE Advanced on July 3. The panel is of the view that the situation is not conducive to conduct the exam. ....

NEW DELHI: Ending the uncertainty for over 6.7 lakh aspirants, education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Sunday announced postponement of the JEE-Main exam scheduled to be held from April 27-30 in view of the Covid-19 situation.
“Given the current Covid-19 situation, I have advised the DG of National Testing Agency to postpone the JEE (Main) April session. I would like to reiterate that safety of our students and their academic career are the prime concerns right now,” Pokhriyal tweeted.
Candidates and parents had been demanding postponement of the exam due to the surge in Covid-19 cases. Starting this year, the exam will be conducted four times annually to offer flexibility to students and a chance to improve their score. The first phase was conducted in February, followed by the second phase in March. The next phases were scheduled in April and May. ....

Candidates who still have not applied for JEE MainÂ April examÂ can apply online by visiting the official website Â jeemain.nta.nic.in till 11:50Â pm. The last date for payment of the online fee is till April 5, 2021.
The NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2021Â April (Session-3) exam for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.). The examination will be held on April 27, 28, 29 and 30, 2021 in two shifts- first shift from 9 am to 12 noon and second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. ....
