Officers said to be recovering from their injuries at home tonight but its the chp is in the middle of its investigation, still looking for a hit and run driver. Two california Highway Patrol officers were issues a traffic ticket north of highway 101 at 10 40 last night. Thats when the accident happened. Somehow he cut through the gore point to take the ramp, sideswiping the patrol vehicle. Its unknown why this person did what they did and could have killed our officers out there.
