Justin Lynskey is a problem for UMass. Lynskey scored the game-winner to give No. 18 Hofstra a 12-11 victory and key CAA result against the Minutemen. Lynskey grabbed a rebound, fought through the UMass defense and scored between the goalie’s legs while taking a hit with just under seven minutes left, giving Hofstra the late lead. Two minutes later, he scored again while taking some UMass assault, finishing a Ryan Tierney pass back-handed for what became the game-winner.
