I m Cristina, publicist working with LGBTQ press Foglifter, and we re letting you know about an upcoming reading event for a project which inspires me: the Home is Where You Queer Your Heart anthology, a recent collection of LGBTQ writing on home and chosen family.
Local people who live near New Orleans and who have been published in this anthology, including
Chanel Clarke, Tia Clark, Elizabeth Gross, Miah Jeffra, Chris Jennings, Jessica Kinnison, Megan McHugh, Karisma Price and other special guests, will read Thursday July 22nd at Parleaux Beer Lab located at 634 Lesseps Street from 6:30-8:30pm. All tour events are free and open to the public. Tubby and Coo s will sell the books. ....
