Marketing speaks with Jessie Mitchell, the commercial director of Merkle Australia. Together we discuss her career trajectory as a self-starter. She also shares her tips in leadership and some best-in-class examples of brands that are using tools and technology to achieve their business objectives.
Can you tell us a little about yourself and your career?
I’ve spent my career helping marketers and businesses take advantage of data and technology to achieve their business objectives. Prior to founding Amicus Digital, I held growth and leadership roles for Salesforce.com, ExactTarget and IBM.

Mental Health Issues Put Another Elite Law School Under The Magnifying Glass

Earlier this week, we told you about the mental health issues law students at Columbia Law School were experiencing, and how the law school’s administration was making it worse. That story had a positive result, with the powers-that-be at the law school changing course and making structural adaptations to help relieve the stressors on students. But, as we said at the time, Above the Law was certain CLS wasn’t the only school with this issue brewing. Turns out University of Michigan Law School students are pissed at their administration over the lack of support for mental health issues during the pandemic.

Dentsu consolidates CXM with Merkle Australia, folds Accordant into Isobar

Dentsu Group continues to consolidate its operations, in a move that will see Amicus Digital, Davanti Australia, DWA and Gyro brought together as part of Merkle Australia.
The operational changes will also see data-driven customer experience consultancy and Adobe Global Alliance Solution Partner, Accordant, integrated into digital experience agency Isobar.
In an announcement, Dentus said the changes will allow the company to simplify its business and strengthen its customer experience management (CXM) offering.
The new-look Merkle Australia will become Dentu’s go-to-market brand for Salesforce CSM solutions and B2B marketing, bringing Amicus Digital recognition as the Salesforce APAC Implementation Partner of the year for 2020.
