The rumors of Downtown dining s COVID-era demise might be greatly exaggerated. At least that s what husband-and-wife team Anthony and Haley Sitek are banking on. Next week, the couple will open a new pizzeria and cocktail joint dubbed Rosie s Cocktails & Pies, which will be located 300 E. Seventh St., Downtown. Their hope is that it will become a go-to spot for happy hours, grab-and-go dinners and, once workers start coming Downtown again, hungry lunch crowds. The name Rosie s comes from my wife s name, Haley Rose, said Sitek, a New Jersey native and co-owner, along with Haley, of the Downtown gastropub Crown Republic, and the Chicago-style steak and pasta restaurant Losanti, in Over-the-Rhine. ....
