yeah, let s hope not. think positively. we know there have been a number of fires not too far from you in ridgecrest. just talking to the mayor there, broken gas lines, that kind of thing. you ve had fires or broken gas lines? we ve had the neighbor down the street had a broken gas line. there s been broken waterlines. someone s water heater fell off in the garage, and it s the county sheriff and the county fire department are doing a really good job patrolling to help people. i m sure they are. do you have power? no, we don t have power and it s probably going to be 120 here today so that s a worry. oh, my gosh. so many people without power, so warm and dealing with these after shocks. and with a 2-week-old grand baby. april, thank you so much for ....
he was bailed out almost immediately. they continued an investigation. what police discovered was disturbing. you mentioned the suicide of his son, his 14-year-old son which occurred back in march and followed some relatively minor disciplinary action at the school. following that suicide police say it really set off the father and changed things. they discovered these e-mails that he sent to himself an his wife that describes some very, very disturbing plots at the high school. he appeared to be very serious about all this. he was clearly starting fires and working on burning the school down. that was the beginning of his threat. he said he was going to, in his e-mails to his wife, he indicated he wanted to acquire some firearms and go to the school and just do a great deal of violence at the school including sexual assaults and random violents against the kids. he s being held without bail. we have reached out to his attorney. he has not returned our calls. i want ....
Notice, it is such a beautiful day here in hilo. it s hot and sunny. many people said they had outdoor plans and they would be at the pitch. if we didn t have such good notice and warning system in place to let everyone know then people would still be at those beaches and possibly in danger if these tsunami waves hit hilo. we re waiting for the waves. no sign of any receding water along the coastline. we re waiting and watching. just like everyone else here in hilo. paul, we saw somebody in the water here at waikiki beach. do you happen to see anybody out in about not only in the water but along the shoreline? no, we don t. we don t see anybody in the water here other than the sail boat. the number of sail boats that were harbored here, they cleared out just a little while ago and went out just past break water. so there is a line of sail boats on the outside of hilo bay. but nobody in is in the water. police have done a very good job patrolling the area. and, again, the helicopter ....
