By TJ Facebook/WAPS (KWNO)- Winona Area Public Schools (WAPS) is reporting no new COVID-19 cases since completing their learning model change late last month. “That just kind of goes to show how closely we are following the protocols here,” said WAPS Communications Coordinator John Casper. “That also is a credit to the community. (KWNO)- Winona Area Public Schools (WAPS) teachers and staff were given nine slots at the Olmsted County COVID-19 vaccination pilot site last week. That’s according to WAPS Communications Coordinator John Casper. He told KWNO that several WAPS staff members who have jobs in healthcare along with their role in the district, are 65 or older or, have underlying health conditions have been vaccinated.
