AKRON – A Stark County man accused of taking part in the U.S. Capitol insurrection will be released on bond. John Douglas Wright, 54, appeared Thursday before U.S. District Court Magistrate Kathleen B. Burke for a detention hearing. Burke agreed to release Wright on a $50,000 signature bond with GPS monitoring and social media and travel restrictions while Wright awaits his trial in Washington, D.C., according to Wright's attorney, Noah Munyer.
