A civil engineering and architecture firm promoted three of its staff members for its succession plan.

Whitney Waara to chief operating officer, and vice president of marketing Jennifer Case to chief marketing officer. Waara joined Traverse City Tourism in October 2019 after serving as the executive director of the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce. Case has been with the organization for more than 20 years and her promotion comes after earning her Certified Destination Management Executive designation earlier this summer. DeVol is the new president of the firm among leadership changes announced by its parent company F&V Companies Inc. The announcement was made last week by the board of directors to staff via a Zoom meeting. DeVol succeeds Paul R. Galdes, PE, as the firm’s president.
