Thurman Munson stadium to undergo significant upgrades
CANTON Significant upgrades are planned for Thurman Munson Memorial Stadium as it becomes the permanent home of McKinley High School baseball. The Canton City school board on Monday approved a 25-year agreement with the city of Canton to use the facility and make $611,000 worth of improvements to the former minor-league facility at 2501 Allen Ave. SE that was built in 1989.
