Tomorrow as colder air starts to make inroads into the region with slowly falling temperatures. On saturday, temperatures will continue to fall with a powerful second surge of arctic air. This will likely generate some snow in the area on saturday night with increasing wind and dropping temperatures. Wind chills on sunday morning continue to look dangerous with 25 to 35 chills common. Some areas in Northern Iowa may experience wind chills around 40. This is dangerous for both humans and animals pets, and you need to ensure you have adequate shelter in place.
