Students are set to perform the 2012 version of the play Godspell.
Conceived and originally directed by John-Michael Tebelak with music and new lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and originally produced on the New York stage by Edgar Lansbury, Stuart Duncan, and Joseph Beruh, the play is based on the Gospel of Matthew. The show follows the character of Jesus as he tells the parables and teaches the lessons of the Gospels in a modern setting.
Directed by Dan Treharne, Godspell will run Friday and Saturday April 30 - May 1 and May 7 - 8 at 7 p.m. as well as on May 2 and May 9, at 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and senior citizens at the door.
