Eastern South Dakota hunting licenses decreased for white-tailed deer
Eastern South Dakota needs more deer. That’s according to the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Department, whose commission voted at its May meeting to decrease the number of East River white-tailed deer licenses that will be available to hunters for the second consecutive year. About 26,200 deer licenses will be available for the 2021 season, which is about 400 fewer than 2020.
