Pérez re-elected Paraguayan Olympic Committee President Camilo Pérez López Moreira has been re-elected President of the Paraguayan Olympic Committee (COP). Pérez, who became an International Olympic Committee (IOC) member in 2018, stood unopposed for the role at the organisation s General Assembly. He has held the position since 2011 and is set to continue as COP President beyond the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Julio Ferrari and Roberto Escobar were elected COP vice-presidents during the meeting, while Juan Orihuela was appointed secretary general.
