Investigation continues into fatal pedestrian hit-and-run

The investigation continues in the case of a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run accident in December in Douglas County that claimed the life of a Squires woman. Douglas County Sheriff Chris Degase says in a social media post his department is still seeking information from the community regarding the accident that reportedly occurred between 11:30 p.m. Dec. 19 and 2 a.m. Dec. 20 by an unknown vehicle, which then fled the scene.
