Were learning more about the man who died in a confrontation with fremont police. The coroner now says 24 year old roger perez of orinda was not killed by police. Instead, he died of a selfinflicted gunshot. Fremont Police Answered a call for assistance from east Bay Regional Parks police late sunday. They say perez shot at officers and they returned fire.
