Saskatchewan Chief Justice Robert Richards dismissed Gamble’s appeal. In the May 5 Court of Appeal decision, Chief Justice Richards, in concurrence with Justices Neal Caldwell and Jeffery Kalmakoff, ruled that the trial judge’s decision to reject Gamble’s request for a Gladue Report wasn’t unreasonable.
