although we do have some relief coming late in the day. tim has a look at the pattern here that has been causing the heat and humidity. we've definitely had high pressure in control. not a cloud in the sky here. very clear. the high, though, sitting off the coast. we'll call it pretty much parallel to the carolinas. it's the bermuda high. allows for that clockwise air to keep pumping and funneling in. and it is bringing in the gulf moisture and gulf warmth. our heat index tomorrow, with a heat forecast high of 103. the heat intex will be between 105 and 110. cooler air comes af...
