Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on Wednesday threatened to leave Twitter, stating that she will soon join the indigenous Twitter-like app Koo. Kangana threatened to leave Twitter after the social media site issued a statement saying that it will not take action against accounts that consist of news media entities, journalists, activists, and politicians. Twitter had been asked by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) to block a number of accounts over the ongoing farmer protests in the country.
