Apart from Soorarai Pottru and Ka Pae Ranasingham, eleven other Kollywood films are being screened at the 18th Chennai International Film Festival.

During the time of lockdown to contain the pandemic situation, theatres were shut down, due to which many films were released directly on the OTT platforms. Now, in an exciting news for movie-buffs, some of these films including Suriya and Aparna Balamurali’s Soorarai Pottru, Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajessh’s Ka Pae Ranasingham and Jyothika’s Ponmagal Vandhal will be screened at the 18th Chennai International Film Festival. A total of 13 Tamil movies will be screened during the festival.

The Chennai International Film Festival (CIFF), which begins on February 18, will have 13 flicks in the Tamil films competition category.
The films are
Godfather,
The festival will have world cinema, Indian panorama, retrospective and country focus categories.
Ninety-one films from 53 countries will be screened. The festival will begin with the French film,
The Girl With A Bracelet.
