Former mayor chuck reed says a partnership with the Gang Task Force helps prevent bloodier summers in san jose. Its greatly valuable in dealing with the gang violence, because we know that if we dont have people who can intervene, you have the retaliatory gang violence. Last night 245 teenagers got jobs to keep them off the streepts. This year, the mayor wants to expand it to 1,000 teenagers.
