Looking to continue its high standard of success after earning its third-straight podium finish at last year’s NCAA Championships, the University of Kentucky rifle team has finalized its 2023-24 competition schedule.
The University of Kentucky rifle team has qualified for the NCAA Rifle Championships for the 29th time in program history as the Wildcats were one of eight teams selected to compete in the 2023 championships.
It was another championship Saturday for the University of Kentucky rifle team inside Barker Hall as the Wildcats defeated rival West Virginia, 4734-4726, to claim its fourth straight Great America Rifle Conference Regular-Season Championship.
Splitting its squad between the two matches, the University of Kentucky rifle team posted wins over both Army and North Georgia in separate dual matches on Saturday inside the UK Rifle Range in Lexington, Kentucky.
The University of Kentucky rifle team will begin a three-match homestand on Saturday as it plays host to a tri-match with Army and North Georgia inside the UK Rifle Range in Barker Hall.
