Kansas softball head coach Jennifer McFalls has announced the addition of six student-athletes to the program as Bailey Amezcua, Kennedy Diggs, Karsen Griggs, Ava Wallace, Kaelee Washington and Bailey Weber each signed with KU on National Signing Day.
Russellville senior Cali Coombs had the biggest of smiles as she was rounding the bases Friday afternoon at Killian Softball Complex. After all, home runs in the Final Four don’t happen every day. Coombs’ three-run home run in the fourth inning helped lift the Lady Indians to an 11-4 victory against the Eugene Lady Eagles in the Class 2 third-place game.
