Iluvtomakemoney was making good money with three-consecutive second-place finishes in Class AA-Open Handicap events at Buffalo Raceway. But on Saturday evening (July 10), he was finally able to grab the lion's share of the $11,300 purse with a 1 1/2-length victory over Black Is Back in 1:55.4 over the "fast" track. With Black Is Back collecting the lead just before the opening panel, Iluvtomakemoney was sick of second place and went up and retake the lead, using fractions of :29, :59.1 and 1:27.3. First it was Santana Beach who parked alongside Stratosphere for the first half. After Santana Beach threw in the towel, Mr Ham Sandwich and Iluvtomakemoney then t...

Protect Blue Chip went off as the heavy favourite in Buffalo Raceway's featured $10,000 Filly and Mare Open Pace on Wednesday night (Feb. 3) and, despite some anxious moments with a photo finish, she didn't disappoint in the end. After managing to get the lead just before the opening panel, Protect Blue Chip set the splits with fractions of :28.2, :59.4 and 1:27.3. Things got tight near the wire as Whos Got The Move and Lady London surrounded Protect Blue Chip, but their combined efforts came up short in the photo from the 1:56.3 mile. It was the first win of the season for Protect Blue Chip ...
