(KEPCO) announced Thursday a revision to the country s electricity billing, highlighted by a new system to reflect the ups and downs of global fuel prices. They said the revision is designed to stabilize KEPCO s profitability and keep it in a more predictable range, but questions remain as to whether this will cause a burden for consumers during fuel price upturns and the scheduled expansion of the use of renewable energy sources. The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and KEPCO s revision adds two new categories to electricity bills that consumers will get from next year. ....
