Washington waives liquor license fees to help businesses hurt by COVID-19 pandemic

WASHINGTON — Eighteen Washington liquor license holders are getting a financial break from the city when they most need it. They won't have to pay for their license when they renew it for the 2021-22 fiscal year. They can thank Lori Peifer, owner of Lori's Kitchen Store, for the city's gesture. Peifer has a BYOB (bring your own beer and wine) license from the city for cooking classes held at her store.
