Chepngetich Named ACC Freshman of the Week
CLEMSON, S.C. - After her outstanding performances this past weekend, Gladys Chepngetich was named the ACC Women's Freshman Outdoor Performer of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.At the Knights Invitational in Orlando, the freshman was first to cross the line in the women's 800 meter as Chepngetich finished the event with a time of 2:01.70, which was a full six seconds faster than the second-place finisher.
