Kids show their creations for the 4-H Marine Debris Fish Project, on display April 19-23 outside the Kodiak History Museum and the Kodiak Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center. For the project, Kodiak 4-H partnered with Alaska Sea Grant to bring local kids the opportunity to come together, clean up the beaches and make a statement with their art for Earth Day (April 22) and this week’s Kodiak Area Marine Science Symposium. Nearly 100 youth participants created marine debris fish mosaics for the project. ....
