Officials elected in November were sworn in at the Carroll County Board of Supervisors meeting on Monday. Auditor Kourtney Irlbeck took the oath first, followed by newly elected District 1 Supervisor Scott Johnson. Supervisors Rich Ruggles and Gene Meiners also took the oath from Judge Eric Neu. Special thanks to Judge Neu for coming down to do this. First up was a closed session per Iowa Code Chapter 21 to discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are currently in litigation or where litigation is imminent and its disclosure would be likely to prejudice or disadvantage the position of the governmental body in that litigation. The board entered into that session at 9:03 and exited at 1 p.m. ....
