Bengaluru/IBNS: Ola Group's founder and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said on May 22 that the company has completed the shift of its entire workload to in-house artificial intelligence (AI) firm Krutrim, a week after cutting ties with its cloud service provider Microsoft Azure.

Krutrim, the AI unicorn founded by Ola's Bhavish Aggarwal, has introduced GPU-as-a-service, enabling enterprises and developers to train and fine-tune models at competitive prices. The service offers access to AI computing infrastructure, foundational models, open-source models, location services APIs, and SDKs. Bhavish Aggarwal aims to develop full-stack AI capabilities in India for the world.
Ola founder Bhavish Aggarwal said, 'The cloud cost we pay is the same as the amount paid by American developers. How is it justified? We will resolve that.' He added that by doing so, his AI startup Krutim Cloud would help developers in India who are currently paying high cloud service costs.
Krutrim’s mobile app launch comes as the country’s first AI unicorn gears up to launch its developer offerings, which includes cloud infrastructure and mapping solutions.
