Patrick, tell us what we have in store for us tonight. so for tonight, good morning, everyone, first and foremost. good morning. tonight we ll have an action packed nascar event to pick off the 75th anniversary at the la coliseum. it s going to be extremely exciting. we re looking forward to it. what s the format of the race, patrick, for this one, how many sm miles, how many stages, what are you doing today? at 2:00 p.m. pacific time we will start with races, we ll transfer guys from each of the heat race, we ll have last chance qualifiers at 5:00 p.m. we have the main event that features 27 of the main drivers. it won t be a normal field normally about 40, it s an all day event. you can watch your favorite car make it into the last heat. that is correct. there are some guys that won t make it into the main event. you ll see a lot of beating and banging. that all begins at 2:00. ....
