The Environment Agency has issued an amber flood alert for the River Weaver catchment, including the Weaver Navigation through Winsford, due to rising river levels at Hayhurst Bridge in Northwich. A SCHOOLGIRL has designed a special mug to help families who have lost their homes in the flood. Eco campaigner Grace Woodward has drawn a picture of people holding hands and her image has been printed onto white mugs. The eight-year-old has already raised more than £70 for residents who had to be evacuated from Lakeside Caravan Park.
