Traffic delays have hit part of the M42 this evening due to an accident. The crash is on the northbound carriageway of the motorway near junction 3A.Traffic is queueing for up to two miles and one lane is currently closed. There are also roadworks in the area which is making the delays worse.Traffic website Inrix reads: "One lane closed and queueing traffic for two miles due to accident on M42 Northbound at J3A (M40 Interchange)."Congestion to J3 (Redditch).
