The Rancho Bernardo Community Council’s 11th annual Chalk It Up was held with a twist for the second consecutive year due to the pandemic.
Saturday’s event had several entrants who submitted photos of their artwork on their driveways and sidewalks near their homes. Prizes were awarded to the following participants, based on age group.
Adults Nina Mascardo received first place for her drawing of two giraffes. Lori Baca came in second with her drawing of an egret. The third place award went to Rodrigo Baca for his drawing of a woman in a kimono.
