Various roads in Stanway, Birch and Copford are shutting because of the popular 10km run. The roads that are closing include the B1022, Beckingham Hall Road, Maldon Road, Birch Road, Easthorpe Road, Rectory Road, Fountain Lane, Hardy’s Green, Maldon Road and Rectory Road. A temporary one-way system will also come into force on part of the B1022, from its junction with Warren Lane to Colchester Zoo. The restrictions will apply on Sunday.
