The Onslow County Republican Party announced late Wednesday night their nomination for who would replace Former Commissioner William Shanahan on the Board of Commissioners after he stepped down on Dec. 8 in preparation for transitioning to his new judicial duties as a District Court Judge.   Mark Price, who was also formerly on BOC, was nominated by the the party's executive committee as their choice to fill the vacant seat.
